Travel: Laguna Beach, San Diego and other parts of Southern Cali

I’m a big believer in going on vacation, and exploring new places at least twice a year. (Or more!) It’s good to take a break from the grind and enjoy all the beautiful things to see and do in different parts of the country and the world. You come back refreshed, and you’ll likely have plenty of cool pictures and stories to tell about your trip!

I recently got back from a trip to Southern California, where I visited one of my best friends. Perfect weather, 80’s and sunny. It was cloudy one day, but the temperature was still warm!

My best friend Fane and I are both big animal lovers, and she suggested going on the caravan tour at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. This was by far one of the coolest experiences I have ever had at a zoo in my entire life! In the Safari Park, there are acres and acres of land that mimic Africa. In it, there are so many animals roaming free like rhinos and giraffes. On the caravan tour, you ride right through it and animals walk right up to you! I was amazed at how close giraffes got to the caravan. We even got to feed them! It costs extra to go on the caravan tour, but so worth it!

There were so many highlights on this trip. The caravan tour at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park was definitely one of them. We also went to Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, and La Jolla in San Diego. All of these spots were beautiful.

The dolphin watch out of Newport harbor was also another highlight We rode on a boat about 6 miles out into the ocean, and saw a big group of dolphins! Cool experience.
